Both of our leather artisans work with local tanneries in Santander and Cundinamarca, Colombia. The vast majority of leather used is vegetable-tanned (a more eco-friendly method requiring less chemicals and energy resources) and chromium-free. The leather is always a byproduct of the meat industry, meaning the entire animal is utilized with minimal waste, a principle both Cesar and Javier value greatly in their craft. Neither artisan uses exotic leathers. We hope the durability and longevity of these handcrafted products can provide a lifetime of use.
